Family Background
The Vice Mayor Vicente R. De Jesus is the sixth (6th) among the 10 children of DR. Filemon and Celestina De jesus. The late Filemon De Jesus was a graduate of the University of the Philippines, College of Medicine and was the first Municipal Health Officer of Koronadal, then known as Marbel. His mother, Celestine Reyes De Jesus also graduated from UP, College of Education. His other siblings are Felimon Jr, UP Medicine; Crisanta, UP Pharmacy, Alberto, UP Electrical Engineering; Lourdes, UP Agri Business; Bernadette, UP Agriculture/Animal Nutrition, Jose, UP Law, Daniel, UE Dentistry; Celestina,Jr., UP Veterinary Medicine; and Ricardo took Computer Science at University of Ottawa.

His Reach Out Projects are:
Kapehan
Is a dialogue/consultation program. The Vice Mayor wakes up
as early as 4 AM in order to go and visit the various Barangays
to be able to talk and interact with the people
Adopt A Day Care
A project to improve the system of the Day Care Centers.
He supplies and distribute toys for use of the children at the
Day Care Centers.
Basketball Clinic
A tournament for the children during school vacations.
While having fun the children can also develop physically
and emotionally. The Vice Mayor has always exert efforts for
the welfare of the children. He believes that children learn the
important things in life like cooperation, thinking, self control
and imagination at play.
Beauty & You
A project assisted by beauticians to give lessons in
hairdressing, makeups to the women of the Barangays.
